Soundbridge and Maxtor NAS

I am sure Im am missing some basics that I have not been able to find in the forums so please bare with me!

I have now moved all my wma music from my networked XP pc to a Maxtor NAS device. My Soundbridge, which used to find this music perfectly, will now not recognise the music on the NAS.

The SB does see Maxtor Media Server (which is enabled) but will not see any music on it.

I rtead a lot about Firefly - do I need to install this or is there another way to let my Soundbridge read music from the NAS ?

Fire Fly is the way to go. I spent quite a bit of time trying to make it work on Maxtor, so you can follow the link below. Good luck.

Many thaks - the regedit is now letting my SB read files from the NAS. It still means I have to have one of the machines on, but thats hald way to where I wanted to get to, so most grateful !
