I spent my evening fiddling around with my Roku box. I was amazed at how easy it is to put together a channel and I wanted to share the fruits of my labors. They are "private" channels, so they won't be listed in the Channel Store. These are very bare-bones and should be considered alpha quality channels, but they seem to work fairly well. And now that there's a template in place, building a channel from that template can be done in less than an hour. So feel free to make suggestions for new channels.

with the nasa stuff - did you use the HD or Full HD streams - cause the bandwidth seems a bit high for just 720p...

(averaging like 6-7mbps). Guess I need a faster connection...

i think hubblecast is the only one that offers both HD and full HD. i used the 720 feed.

I just added the nbc channel and the videos work great so far! The only part that is alpha glitchy for me is navigating between programs on the main screen. There is a big delay when pushing the left/right buttons to select different shows. I make sure to click slowly. : )

It should be noted that the code for NBC is HN08S with the O being a ZERO instead of the letter O.
Please in the future don't use the numbers - ZERO'S - ONES - Letters - i - L - O they can be confusing.

Just checked out the NASA channel - and left a donation. Very nice! Not only is the PQ excellent, I like the fact that the UI is very polished. Great job, looking forward to more.

Glad you got NBC - CBS -ABC but what about the FOX NEWS CHANNEL ?
Would be nice to see Bill O'Reilly, Greta Van Susteren and even Glen Beck besides Morning Joe and Keith Olbermann.

fox is on my list, although Greta is audio only and Mr. O'Reilly's feed is broken at the moment, so they may not be included at first.

Just an FYI, this is caused by having to load large file size thumbnails from the internet. Nowhere can maybe fix this by reducing the size of the "poster" pictures.

thanks for the tip. right now it just uses whatever image is referenced in the original feed. will look into it.
