wma lossless support

I find that Roku digital video player will play back my ripped WMA files using Roksbox very nicely, but, try as I might, my lossless wma rips go unnoticed (ripped with "windows media player 11" in XP using codec "windows media audio 9 lossless")

Is this a limitation of the Roku... is it limited to only playing lossy wma? If so, does anyone know the max rip that roku will play (192 Kbps?). And/or is there a max rate beyond which the roku will not benefit froM?
