Sounds like they forgot to move the clocks ahead one hour over the weekend.

They still haven't fixed it. This is an embarrassment. They are officially now selling a product that does not work.

Just wrote to the NBA on their web form suggesting that they run these complaints up the chain. My guess is that someone is in over their head at the NBA Headquarters and not enough people have visibility to a very damaging problem for the NBA. If Stern was aware of the issues, heads would almost certainly roll, so I'm assuming that this just doesn't have the visibility it needs.

I recommend tweeting about the problem, maybe using the hash tag #nbastolemymoney, if you're a sensationalist.

At least you can watch the games uninterrupted, without it reloading every 5 minutes. I would rather watch an hour delayed than having it constantly stop and reload.

If you read all the way through the Game Time Lite legal statement, there is this sentence at the very end.:

"Any questions and/or issues related to the Game Time Application should be reported to: nbagtsupport@turner.com" Has anyone tried this and gotten a response?

I have tried it, and received no response. Numerous times.

I can report that the NBA and Roku have yet to fix the problem tonight. This has gone on long enough. We're not receiving what we paid for, and the NBA is in breach of contract.

This is, without question, the worst performance of any Roku channel I've experienced. MLB 2010 was very shaky, but this absolutely blows that out of the water. The NBA is clearly not trying at all and doesn't care, and Roku isn't doing a good enough job nudging them into any kind of response. Just awful all around.

Pretty hard to believe in the year 2012 there is no outlet to get me League Pass on my television in HD, but it appears that way. Cable offers Standard and Roku channel is completely nonfunctional.

I just used the live support option and was told to reboot my Roku, when I told them that did not work (I even rebooted it to humor them!) they told me that I needed to call Roku... I am now trying Roku live Chat again...

This was now posted to the Consumerist... lets see if that pushes some attention to Turner/NBA?

Hey guys,

Sorry I missed this thread earlier in the week. I've alerted the appropriate people, and will get back to you on this issue if and when I get word on it.

Update: NBA is working on it :). No ETA on the fix, though.

Seeing all the problems with the NBA League Pass this season I am so happy that I chose not to subscribe this season.

I thought it was a huge rip-off to charge a full season's price for what is basically three quarters of a traditional season and when I watched the "NBA Free Preview" the first week it was unwatchable and I did not get to view one full game the entire free trial period. Seeing the problems continuing and the many stories of unsatisfactory performance from start until now I am wondering if the NBA really cares about fans once they have paid money for the channel.

I hope the NBA does the right thing and fixes the channel before the playoffs which should be beginning in a few weeks and then the channel is a total waste for live games as most are on national tv and blacked out live.

Peace

Thank you Shawn! It was more than a little disappointing what it took to get the NBA/Turner to look into this issue. I have opened tickets with them and done a number of live chats and nothing was done. There seems to be a disconnect between their support team and the engineering team so when infrastructure problems occur there is no place the front line support people can send someone. This isn't a Roku problem but maybe Roku should have a way of sending such items to a team that can handle engaging the proper channel resource?
