Pirates at Cubs away feed (Pirates feed) has been horrible all game. For anyone else? I gave up and am watching on WGN via Dish Network.

Now the Giants CSN Bay Area game is garbage in the 1st inning. I give up. Maybe it'll work in 2 weeks.

Sigh, yup. I just popped on the Nationals-Marlins game. Home feed. There's the pixelation, and stuttering, and I don't even know what to call this:

We're a week and a half into the season. Come on, MLB, fix this already FFS!

Tonights Dodger's game (home) was pretty hard to watch. In fact so much I shut it off and used AT BAT to follow it while listening to a blacked out game (Giants vs D'backs).

Giants game sucks. Nothing like the last few days where the stream would smooth out after having been tuned in for a minute or two. Nothing but unintentionally psychedelic tearing, stuttering, apahasic skipping--like trying to watch a video stream as seen through an aspie filter. No fun. one more day of this and refund city here I come.

I wish it were that simple an explanation.

I just power cycled the Roku (2 XS) and my modem. Again, I have Verizon FIOS with 100 MPBS. The Roku is hard wired into it.

6:45 am Central, no congestion as no games are going on, and the only people awake in the US right now are on the east coast, and getting ready for work.

I jumped to inning four of the Cards-Reds game, away feed. The first minute or so is terrible. Skipping, stuttering, pixelation, full gray screen. When they come back from the commercial break, it's fine. No problems at all. So, it's not the internet congestion. It's something specific to the player the Roku employs in broadcasting the game. The feed is borked, and then it evens out. Unfortunately, I can't use the old player like one can on a computer.

I really just want to lay in bed, heal, and watch the baseball games I payed MLB a good deal of money to see.

Sigh again. It's maddening that they haven't fixed this yet. Stevie Wonder could have fixed the problem already.

I feel the same way, but I am not going to argue with any representatives or defenders of Roku or MLB about it. I wonder if they are watching their product performance like we are.

Its strange, the first week, all the home feeds were bad, this week, the home feeds are good and the away feeds are bad. I had one small issue with Yanks feed last night before it was perfect, a couple of "please waits".

Just checked back with the forum to see if anything had changed over the past week. Looks like things are still bad. I honestly do feel bad for everyone trying to watch MLB with their newer Roku boxes. Again, just for comparison, my original Roku seems to be able to play ALL of the Red Sox feeds (home and away) and the games are all smooth, no pixelation and very "watchable" Strangely, there seems to be one instance nearly every game where the connection gets lost several times in a row, but within a minute or 2 things are back to normal. I can deal with that compared to what others are seeing.

This is a stark contrast to my experience last week trying to use my new Roku 3. MLB on the Roku 3 was nothing but stuttering, pixelation, and dropped signals, just terrible. I have to say though, that I haven't even tried to use the Roku 3 for a week. With the old Roku all hooked up and running well, I didn't have a reason to check.

For everyone still suffering and waiting, I sure hope this gets fixed soon.

One wonders if the GameDay audio option is best way in some cases or watching a game via iPhone/iPad etc. It does not inspire confidence to watch when all you get is lots of pixilated images, distorted images, and whatever the servers decide to chew up. Watching via the website appears fine but that is not why we bought a Roku. Cynical people might think it is a ploy to get people off the Roku and make them watch at the website (where they run advertising between innings during live play). What will happen if it is not fixed is people will dump their subscription or not renew next year. Since I am blocked from watching the SF Giants do to the blackout policy for home and away games, MLB gave me the option of watching other games. Even the great Vin Scully cannot compete when his wonderful play-by-play is chewed up by the video problems.
