Live streaming with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder

Hi;

Please, can someone let me know if it is possible to perform live streaming to Roku directly from the Adobe Flash Media Encoder and a personal computer with no necessity to use a private server such as Wowza or without using the Adobe Media Server? Of course, I know I need to add one AAC Audio encoder to my computer.

I will appreciate your advise.

Thank you.

Well doing that will limit you to the number of users who can connect to your local internet, and if you are using the same internet to run your stream, it will bog down and run slowly.
its a poor way to stream and won't deliver an optimal end-user experience.

Good morning Coskel;

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I figured that if possible doing that, the number of users will be limited.
Do you know Server services at accesibla prices?

Thank you.

We do all our development in house and don't use a CDN, so I recommend using Google to find a video streaming CDN. My understanding is that their pricing is tiered.
