Meatball-eating bear returns to Glendale home -- for more food?

The hungry bear that made its way into a Glendale man's garage early Wednesday morning returned to the same house Wednesday night, possibly in search of the Costco meatballs and tuna it had consumed the night before.

KTLA reports that the 500-pound black bear tried to get through the same garage door that resident Joey Ball had left open Wednesday night. This time the bear was stymied in its attempt.

wow, I lived in Glendale for 33 years (up until 2003) and while coyotes and the occasional mountain lion were relatively common, bears of any sort were just plain unheard of. Maybe up in the La Crescenta foothills but down into Glendale? bizarre.
