| WTMX in Chicago changed its streaming format to Liquid Compass and it no longer plays on my Roku. Can anyone help? |

Has any one made any progress on this? WTMX changed their stream and I can't connect. Can someone point me in a direction?
TIA

Anybody tried to contact WTMX? If they don't provide an MP3/WMA or AAC stream, we're out of luck.

They provide an AACplus stream, but it doesn't play on the SoundBridge.
Greetings

Dupondt,
Do you know if that is that because the Soundbridge can't play AACPlus or because they have done something specific to their stream?
Does anyone know if the SoundBridge will have a firmware upgrade to support the AACPlus stream?

cegruenberg,
version 3.0.44 brought "preliminary" support for AACplus which means that most SoundBridges can play some flavours of this codec, but not all. The new LiquidCompass streams as well as the new StreamTheWorld streams do not play.
There will be no further firmware updates for the SoundBridges, as these devices are EOL (please see this thread for details).
Greetings

Guess what? WTMX plays nicely on my Reciva based radios (and in FlexBridgeRadio, of course)
BTW: The Stream 83i may sound good (I can't tell, because I don't have one), but the design is suboptimal

But according to the guys at Reciva, you only get the AAC part (not the plus), so it's OK, but not as good - same on my WM-201
