Blip TV Shows

Postby Nelthilta » Fri Aug 20, 2010 11:05 pm

Is there no way to actually look at all of the shows on Blip TV on the Roku? My boyfriend and I just purchased the Roku so we could watch Day9TV on Blip TV on our television instead of on the computer. That show is not listed under the Blip TV channel on Roku. We tried looking under the gaming genre and just doing a search for Day9TV, but we cannot find it. Is there any way for us to watch it on Roku? Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can use the iTunes feed URL in CDNTwo.

I use Sunimi. It's free. Just find the RSS feed in itunes and add the feed in Sunimi. That's all you have to do. Add the Sunimi channel and the Sunimi website should tell you how to do the rest after you find the RSS feed. Good luck. :D

Thanks for the replies. What URL do I use on Blip TV to get it to work with Sunimi? Or where do I find the iTunes RSS feed URL? I have tried several different URLs and none of them will validate.

Try this
http://day9tv.blip.tv/rss
That link only appears to have flv video enclosures. The itunes link has multiple formats enclosed, not sure how the Roku or individual roku channels would handle that, but anyway here it is: http://day9tv.blip.tv/rss/itunes/

Thanks so much. That worked. I feel stupid. When you go to create the feed, it asks for the URL and there was something to validate that it is the right kind of URL. It kept telling me that it wasn't, but I went ahead and put it in after you posted to just put that, and it worked. So next time I will just ignore that validation step. Thanks again! :D

Yup, sorry. It looks like I forgot to add itunes to the end of the URL. Thanks for catching that.
