Anyone interested in programming from National Geographic should check out today's new streaming releases -- well over a hundred National Geographic specials and series.

where do you see a National Geographic Channel ?
I looked all over the channel store i don't see it listed.
I looked at http://www.roku-channels.com/
and i don't see a private channel for it listed there either.
I'm sure other people might want to know where it is too.

It's on Netflix.

Probably about 130 different NG programs.

There isn't one really. But here's a search that shows most of them:

This doesn't include titles without NG in the name though.

Found them on Netflix.
A nice quantity of IW too.
Would be nice to have a National Geo Channel.
Or better yet a PBS Channel with National Geo as a sub channel in it.
Its public broadcast so why not a freebie channel for roku.
With sub channels like Nova, Nat Geo where you could select past episodes.
Anyway at least Netflix has Nat Geo on IW

Sorry, folks. I left for a few hours and didn't realize I hadn't mentioned Netflix as the source of the National Geographic shows. There wasn't any simple link to post. I found them on the Netflix RSS feed for new instant watch titles. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, I stick that url into Google reader, and review it all the time. They add something almost every day (usually overnight) and on occasion, like Epix and today, a boatload of stuff drops at once. Google reader lets me star interesting things for later, so I don't have to add every last thing I might someday want to watch to my already over-loaded queue, but I do have a way to note my interest.

Thank you 20th Centruy Fox Television (the distributer and partner in the Nat Geo cable Channel) for getting this deal done with Netflix.

It's terrific to see all the shows, isn't it? I'm a big documentary fan, and NG does an excellent job. Good on the studio and Netflix for bringing us this quality material.

I'm finding that I'm spending most of my Watch Now time with TV shows, like this and the series.

The NG content isn't a Roku channel - it's been released for streaming in Netflix. I find:
http://www.instantwatcher.com
to be a great way to source and queue Neftlix streaming content.

The quality is good, with the newer shows having better resolution (expected). I could wish the shows were widescreen, but no biggie.

Really nice to have this selection.
