Can I stream internet through my pc to my tv via my Roku?

Postby Merwaves » Sat Mar 05, 2011 2:50 pm

I've been looking at the forum for information on getting PBS content. I'm wondering if I can connect my PC to my ROKU and watch content directly on TV. If so, I'm wondering if this could work on all the archived free content on the PBS web site, and perhaps HULU (without the plus). Anyone?

No, it doesn't work that way, not legally anyway. There is however a lot of PBS content on the box. Netflix has tons of it.

If you have HDMI output on your computer, you can connect that directly to your HDMI compatible TV like I do for the few things that I cannot find on Roku.

I don't know why anyone wants to talk about it. It works like crap.

The nowheretv channel has lot of the pbs website content - so I am not sure what you need... however the hulu regular just won't work right, there were other solutions but in the end your life would be so much easier if you just bought a laptop and hooked that to your tv for theses things (not being funny).
