Has anybody had any luck tethering a ROKU on the Verizon LTE network?

I have tethered my droid incredible to to my roku using the wifi hotspot. Thats only 3g so it did rebuffer a lot. I dont see why you wouldnt be able to tether the Thunderbolt to the Roku. The only issue is that those wifi hotspot plans arent unlimited so you wouldnt be able to use it a bunch. The fix for that would be to root the Thunderbolt which Im sure you could find out how to do online. Then download one of the free third party wifi tethering apps from the market. Then you wouldnt have to pay for a plan also. Just also make sure to look into pros and cons of rooting an Android device.

That's what I do on my iphone, but AT&T just launched a large-scale scare tactic for those that, they believe, are using that method.
Probably geared more towards those who use their connection for heavy PC use (like...I don't need and ISP heavy use)! Hopefully Verizon doesn't follow suit.http://news.cnet.com/8301-30686_3-20044818-266.html
