Thank you for the reply.
I wondered about the partition size. But my 8 year old XP box recognized the entire drive so I thought the newest Roku would not have a problem.
This info is not in the Roku online specs (that I read) nor the unit packaging and I could not find anything here.
Where did you find this info?
I'll report back after splitting the drive.

Think jeff meant to say Roku support.

That's not a Hard Drive, that's a USB stick.
Can that be right?
Where did the maximum 2TB info previously posted come from?
Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get a WD Elements 2.5 TB USB HD (partitioned into two 1.25 drives) to work with the Roku 2 XS?
Someone from Roku want to weigh in on this?

Just search USB Hard Drive Size (of all things). There are a bunch of posts.
...I suspect the tech was referring to the maximum size of the Micro SD card that the Roku2 will accept.
