Is there any way to stream from n IPAD to Roku (similar to how AirPlay streams to AppleTV)? My IPAD is jailbroken, so I am looking for a solution (official or unofficial) that can stream, preferably without the nead of an intermediate device.

To be honest the simplest solution would be to buy a video adapter cable for your Ipad and then unplug the HDMI cable from your Roku and plug it into the adapter cable on the Ipad.
The cable adapter works for me and I use this set up often when I travel to stream video to a flat screen TV in hotel rooms. The Ipad can easily sign into hotel networks and if traveling internationally I can use a VPN connection when necessary.

I agree with JimDandy, the best way is to just connect your iPad to the TV.
If you go any other route here is what needs to happen
1) The incoming stream goes over your wi-fi to your iPad
2) The iPad then streams it back to the router over whatever app you select again over wi-fi
3) The router would then send it to the Roku over wi-fi.
That is a 3 times the amount of work and bandwidth you are expecting to utilize for your router. Some routers can handle it, others might not.
