I had the same problem until a message finally came up on the Roku screen telling me that I would have to go to the Roku web site and install the channel as a private channel. Did that and it worked fine. Then deleted the previous version which I had installed from the channel store.

Don't know if this covers your problem or not knuckle, but it was mentioned in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=54522&p=369605&hilit=8ctave+HD#p369468 :)

This is an interesting channel. Their facebook page lists http://octavetv.com/ as their home page, but the page is under construction.

What's that you say, sonny? We're old, you gotta speak up...

;)

Thanks for keeping an ear out. We want and encourage any and all comments/suggestions/advice.

The long weekend is keeping our SD patch in queue for Roku review longer than normal. Our private 'clone' is named '8CTAVEHDT' and should satiate viewers in the meantime.

Don't be shy. Your opinion not only matters to us, it makes us better.

BTW, what's a website?

;)

Our best to you,

Yeah, what he said. And I'm the one the wife is always telling to turn the volume down. Shoulda seen the look she gave me when I launched the temp channel just now. Tell me it'll be at a more consistent level on relaunch. Or before.

I gave the ch a look and I have to say that the opening stupid animation and inane loud music makes a potentially good channel feel like trash.

It does not matter what content is behind it I will not open that ugly door again.

It feels like the opening of one of the mindless game shows.

My system at just under 250 true watts per channel and that intro music nearly blew the back wall out of the house :!:

Interesting. My system has MUCH less power than that, but they had the sense to provide a volume control and "mute" button. :)
