MediaFly

I am aware that it has been mentioned that "MediaFly" will be released as one of the "Big Ten" coming at some point this year. However, Media Fly has already jumped the gun and has prepared their website for you to link your Roku player to your Media Fly account. It would seem that, perhaps the next release will be MediaFly, and soon.

That is probably there for some kind of upcoming beta test. They have not released it to Beta yet as Roku has not started a new beta test since the Amazon update beta just ended.

From that link when you click on the Roku box "Mediafly is currently available to a limited number of beta testers". It looks like we should expect it quite soon. I'm not sure if it actually is in Beta or if they just jumped the gun a bit in making that statement. But it may be sooner rather than later!

Either they jumped the gun a bit on the beta, or the beta hasn't been announced to us yet for some reason. I wonder if by Beta, they mean something different than we usually mean. Perhaps it is really in Alpha testing.

Not saying that I am in such a beta, but Roku could have multiple betas running at once. They do have the ability to target specific boxes.

I signed up for mediafly and waiting for the code from Roku to link it to my account. Pretty cool FREE stuff.
