Analog with Converter box

Postby ckunert » Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:54 am

Hello,

I am a new traveler on the cut-the-cable highway. We have an old TV (1993), and right now my husband is refusing to buy a new one. The TV serviceman is coming soon to hook up the Channel Master antenna. I have a digital converter box here waiting for him. Then I would like to get the ROKU. I have high-speed broadband through Time Warner. So far, so good? Will this work if I don't have an HD TV? Which ROKU box do I need?

Yes it will work--I have an OTA indoor antenna with a converter box and a roku. Roku will be attached using the red/white/yellow inputs to your TV while your ota attaches to the cable attachment. I chose the middle box ,the XD, because it supports N wireless ( more strength)and it works fine for me.

I think you will be very happy with your choices. Check out the free month of Netflix movies, add the free channel PUB-A-DUB and explore the added options you have with ROKU and layered Digital programming on your antenna.
