Roku XD - Speed Issues.

Critical:

Channel name. - Most of the Channels are super slow
Channel version
What is the issue being reported? Browseing in the channels is painfully slow.
What are the steps to reproduce? Going to ANY menu on any channel except the main menu.
Is it reproducible (how many times out of 5 does this happen)? It happens 5/5 times. In fact, i haven't seen it do anything but run super slow.
What is the serial number of the box? (Found on the bottom of the unit labeled ‘SERIAL NO’ and in Settings -> About, ‘Serial number’.) 12A181111206
What software version is the box running? Roku 2 XD - Ver 4.2


Nice to have:


Is the box connected to the internet via wireless or a wired connection? Wifi
What signal strength is the box reporting if connected to the internet via Wifi? Excellent
What type of internet service does the user have? Century Link High Speed DSL
How is the box connected to the TV HDMI
What resolution is being used? 1080

The video certainly helps explain the problem....you have tried the soft and hard resets I take it?

The hard reset did it! Took a few resets but it finally started working correctly.

I've never heard of anything like that so far ... thank you for the video explanation, and glad the reset worked for you. Going to forward this thread over to the engineers today for review.
