Where is the IR sensor?

Postby blue2noise » Sat Jan 12, 2013 11:27 am

Anyone know specifically where the IR sensor is? I use one of those IR repeaters and cant seem to find the best place to stick it.

Thanks!

On the R2 boxes (XD & XS), it's on the right side of the box just below the light if i remember correctly.

I wish I had that issue. I have an HD, an XD, and an old HD-XR all in the same room for development, and I can't for the life of me manage to block the IR signal from hitting all three. The HD will pick up the signal even if I point it outside of the room, with no obvious surface for it to bounce off of. It seems like some of the boxes were made with hyper-sensitive IR receivers.
