The dog ate my earbuds!

Postby dlester03 » Sat Mar 30, 2013 8:26 am

On the brand new Roku 3 that I got a couple of days ago (bad dog)! Will any stereo earbuds work as a replacement? My wife loves it when I watch TV with the earbuds. I have a hearing problem and have to turn the TV up rather loud to be comfortable so the earbud feature is a real value add for me.

Thanks

I purchased a set of Koss earbuds yesterday. They work fine.

Thanks for your reply.

Just so you don't feel so bad, I will admit that my dog ate a pair of my earbuds a few months ago. I had just bought them a few days earlier, sure am glad I opted for the $11 Earpollution pair instead of the $60 Klipsch pair I was considering.

^ May not help. I have a Aussie pup who much prefers plastic wire insulation to dog food...

I was in the same boat you are, about 13 years ago, when my rat terrier mix was a puppy, and liked everything from bottles of V8 Juice to CD cases (and the CDs inside)..
Yeah, I got some Rokus.

Watch out for the cats too. Mine did not eat it just chewed through the wires. <Force equals mass times acceleration> cat.

Sorry for the dumb question. Will the roku 3 remote/earphones work with older models?
