I have to replace the Roku LT from a HDTV to a Sanyo CRT TV. I don't have the composite cable.
I bought the "3.5 mm to 3 RCA AV Camcorder Video Cable Sony JVC 6 feet" and it doesn't work.
Am I missing anything or this cable doesn't work with Roku?
Is there a cheaper option available than the $9.99 available at roku.com?

If your HDTV has composite input ports, you test the JVC cable that you bought to verify if the cable really doesn't work.
- BTW, the video won't be sent out of from the Roku A/V jack if you have an HDMI cable plugged into the unit.

Thats because the roku composite jack is wired differently.
there are 4 contacts on the plug, the video channel (on contacts 3 and 4) are reversed on the roku version so that when a non roku cable is used the video out from the roku gets grounded.
