I've had this happen quite a few times and I am on a 7000 kbps cable modem connection. I've also had the stream take up to 4 minutes to start when choosing a program, and I've had the box choose quality 1 even though a test at pcpitstop immediately after this choice is made shows over 6500 kbps thro...

Another Pyramid-Audio fan here. One of my Rev B units broke on Sunday - I mailed it on Monday and received it back by UPS on Friday - working as good as ever. :)

Hope they keep fixing Photobridge's - I have three more that could go out any day now.

Very happy.

Has anybody considered drilling vent holes in the top of the cover over the power supply as a preemptive measure? I've had one Rev B go with a bad power supply and fixed it with the morex supply, but am thinking that I would like to postpone this on my other three as long as possible. Any thoughts o...

Nevermind - figured out how to tranfer the file in. Two questions, though - is there a way to hide the builtin "Setup" icon and the icon for this script after it has run? Also, most times the icons on the left for the shares do not automatically hide - I have to re-run the script to get th...

Thanks for your help - it has been a while, but I am finally getting back to this.

I think I understand what to do but am not sure how to ftp into the Roku - I can login using telnet, but get a connection refused when I try to ftp in. Is there some trick I am missing?

thanks

Thanks for posting the updated script - I am only confused (at the moment) by your statement about where the script lives - do you mean that you load the script from a CF card? Can it be loaded from a regular share?

thanks

Bgrubb1 I have also used this method - I think the problem is having may be related to not having enabled sharing (using windows) on the drive that is being mounted into the folder. At least, that is the problem I had with similar symptoms. I found that if you don't give the drive a letter and enabl...

Thanks

With the help of this thread, I got my PB back in working order using a small ATX power supply. Not hard to do. Probably going to get the DC-DC converter referenced earlier in the thread for a more permanent fix.

thanks

olllllo

Thanks for the info and the pictures. The only question I have is about the switch. Is it absolutely necessary? Is it a two position toggle or an instantaneous contact (like a reset button)?

thanks

Using it -- like it.

Version .8 has been stable for me so far on both A and a B rev machines. Has been more stable and more forgiving of less-than-perfect MP3 tags than Sonica, for me at least. Running slimserver on an XP box that is pretty much dedicated to it (although the actual media is fed off a Terastation) -- I t...

Thanks fro the tip -- this program has worked for me also -- cleans up the audio burps quite well. Not necessary for most, but for the movies that were pretty bad (Star Wars being an example), it works perfectly. Maybe the description of what this program does would help the ROKU folks find and fix ...

Great app and a suggestion

Mplay surely makes the Roku PB way more useful. I have a suggestion that not only relates to mplay, but all apps. It would be prudent to place the images in a separate folder but not name the folder "images" to avoid potential conflicts. Already, WeatherSix and Mplay use the "image" folder approach ...

Re Zoom function not saving

Bill,
Please try the latest version. There was a 1-2 day window in which there was a buggy MPlay posted by me, and it would behave as you descibe. Try the latest and let me know if you still have problems.

M.-

Thanks -- just reinstalled -- working great now!

Problem with reading saved zoom setting

Thanks for the great app -- been having much fun with it.

Since the last update, though, Mplay doesn't seem to be reading the saved zoom setting. Bookmarks are still working, so it doesn't seem to be a read/write problem with the share.

Anybody else having this problem?

thanks
