Roku HD1000 For Sale

I finally decided to part with my HD1000 since I haven't used it in years. The power supply was replaced by Pyramid Audio and includes a new Morex ATX power supply that I never ubstalled. If you are interested it is listed on eBay.

Problem with Edit and Manual entry

Hi Phil - thanks for the quick reply. I am running IOS 3.0. I did delete and reinstall from the app store. I did this from my phone not from iTunes. I just went to the players tab and then selected my player and tried to edit that screen to change the "Location" and "Player Name"...

Problem with edit and manual Entry

I just installed DVPRemote and am trying to configure it with my player. It finds the player and I select and save. The program does a great job of controlling the player. At first I could not get it to save the player and had to search again on startup. Now it has saved the player but I can not edi...

Slimroku / Sirius Plugin Problem

I found the following comments in the Soundbridge forum. Could this be the reason Slimroku freezes? Slimserver has a prevent standby plugin but it looks like it is for windows. Is there a way to do this in Linux? "I used the Roku radio snooper to find the address of Sirius channels, I put a cou...

i would suggest upgrading to SlimServer 6.5.1 I had it working last friday with SlimRoku 1.6b, running simultaneously on two different roku PB's! People at the party were amazed, they requested an artist and it showed up almost immediately on the Plasma TVs! Mostly I have MP3's and FLAC files in my...

Re: Slimroku freezes

I did not find a Slimserver 6.5 build for my setup and could not figure out how to install the source code so I guess I am stuck. Should I go back to an older version of Slimroku that was designed for 6.3? Thanks for your help. You can run two versions at the same time as long as they're in differe...

Re: Slimroku freezes

SlimRoku 1.6b was developed against SlimServer 6.5. If you're still running 6.3, there's a good possibility that there is something different between the two versions that's throwing SlimRoku off. ------------------------------------------------ I did not find a Slimserver 6.5 build for my setup and...

Slimroku freezes

I am running Slimserver 6.3.1 on a Kurobx PPC with a compiled version of mplayer and running Slimroku 1.6b. The Sirius stream actually sounds decent thanks to Slimroku but I can't figure out why the HD1000 freezes after 23 minutes. Slimserver does not crash so it must be the HD1000 or Slimroku. The ...

Slimroku freezes

Thanks to bpa I got the Sirius plugin working on Slimserver. Now I am streaming Sirius radio to the HD1000 via Slimroku and it works great for about 20 minutes then the HD1000 stops and locks up. After I reset the photobridge it starts again and runs for about 20 more minutes then the same thing hap...

Mplayer install problem

It looks like mplayer did not compile. I tried to reinstall mplayer and it would not make or make install. The files are .c and .h so the problem is not wiht AlienBBC or the Sirius plugin. After searching the net, I could not find anything that would explain the problem. I thought it might be missin...

Codecs for Slimserver/Slimroku - Linux

I moved this to a new topic since the nature of the problem has changed. Obviously I am in over my head with Linux but I am hoping that it is just a matter of getting the folder structure right. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think I have made a...

Help with codecs location in SLimserver for Linux

I think I have made a mess. I am running Slimserver on a Kuorbox PPC and it does a great job of streaming MP3's to Slimroku. I have tired to install AlienBBC and Mplayer along with codecs so I can use the Sirius plugin. I went to the server and was able to check wma to mps via mplayer.sh and it took...

Problem with Sirius plugin for Slimroku 1.6b

The only reference I could find was to install AlienBBC and mplay.

I went to that site but can not extract the tar file. I am not sure that this will solve the problem even if I get it installed.

Problem with Sirius plugin for Slimroku 1.6b

What are the specs of the PC doing the real time transcoding from WMA to MP3? What other background processes are running that might be stealing precious CPU cycles? ---------------------- I am now running this on a Kuro box that is a PowerPC. I have it streaming to Slimroku but when I select Sirius...

Problem with Sirius plugin for Slimroku 1.6b

Thanks for the quick response. I followed the instructions and checked the mp3 option for transcoding WMA. Now Sirius is stuttering in Softsqueeze and Slimserver is crashing. Live 365 had the same issue but some of the other radio streams worked. I have Sirius in my new car and was trying to find an...
