Re: Why doesn't Roku sell Soundbridge devices anymore?

<<The good news is that other than most devices on the market the SoundBridges have 18 locally stored internet radio presets which are completely independent from Radio Roku.>>
A whooping 18 presets...wow. Lucky you to have narrowed you preferences to ONLY 18 stations.

Some Roku guru might correct me but I remember reading here somewhere (a post by RokuMike?) that the buffer is 20 seconds...which in my opinion is large enough to bypass small network glitches. It doesn't seem like the size of the buffer is the issue...and I'd very much like to know why most people ...

Oh no? Do a search on "buffering" and see how many results come up... I find hard to understand how an undepowered device like the tablet N800 can have better performance in terms of streaming than a "home theater appliance"... But maybe you don't listen to Internet Radio....or m...

I already updated the Intel drivers for the laptop (tried both Intel and HP released ones)...as far as the router is concerned (Trendnet TEW-431 BRP) I have the latest firmware (almost 2 years old :(
Looks like it's one those stubborn ones that don't mix and match signals :)

Thanks

Learned the hard way: b and g conflict

New owner here...just set up my M500 and since the router was set to "b and g" Roku had no problem connecting. However, my laptop (which has a g adapter) kept dropping the connection although the router was less than 1m away. Solved by forcing the router in "b only" mode. Hope it...
