I can confirm that all audio URLs were deleted or vanished for some other reason. Only Roku can fix that.

Re: CBC Radio One Toronto

46jimbo,

having tested the URL on my M1001 I can confirm that it plays fine on the SoundBridge.

Re: CBC Radio One Toronto

As it's an MP3 stream it should work on the SoundBridges (I'm not near one of mine so I can't test it).

BTW: All CBC stream URLs can be found here.

Re: How do I cast MediaMonkey from Android.

Hi Force Legato, I'm afraid that I'm a bit at a loss in your case. As your WiFi-connected PC can cast to the wired M1000 it doesn't seem to be a router issue. Some routers don't allow multimedia packets to travel from wired clients to WiFi clients and vice versa but that's obviously not the case wit...

Re: How do I cast MediaMonkey from Android.

Force Legato, I found a suitable PSU so I can tell you that casting to my M1000 works fine with both MediaMonkey for Android and 2Player. It's my understanding that you can cast to your M1000 from your PC (with MediaMonkey for Windows), but not from your phone. If this is correct then depending on y...

Re: How do I cast MediaMonkey from Android.

The software is Version 3.0.44 and no further upgrades are available. That's the latest and final official software and it should work with MediaMonkey. I haven't yet tested casting to my M1000, though, but will do so if and when I find the PSU. In the meantime you might want to also ask for help o...

Re: How do I cast MediaMonkey from Android.

Hi Force Legato,

casting from MediaMonkey for Android to my SoundBridge M1001 works fine. Which firmware version is running on your M1000?

You might want to try 2Player, its code has been optimised to be as compatible as possible with the SoundBridges.

"Play on PC" stopped working years ago, presumably because of Radio Roku's outdated Java code and changes in Windows, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.

Re: M1001 Displays 2 lines. I want one......

I've done a "factory reset" at least a couple of times; yet I just realized that all of the preset stations that came with its memory are still there. Shouldn't they have disappeared with the resets? A factory reset will populate the presets with a set of default (and in many cases defunc...

Re: M1001 Displays 2 lines. I want one......

Hi jpphipps, the SoundBridge has two font size settings: one for standby and one for normal operation (powered on). To change the standby display, put the SoundBridge in standby, then choose the desired display option by pressing the up or down button on the remote. To change the display for normal ...

It seems so. For several days now querying time.rokulabs.com from a PC results in a timeout error.

Re: SBR Finally Kaput! What to do with it now?

The clock on one of my two Soundbridge 1000s just died, and along with it the sleep timer. I got a display saying "trying to set clock" and it gave up after a couple of minutes. Any suggestions for reactivating the clock? This behaviour indicates that the time server (NTP server) your Sou...

Re: Tune In support is useless?

Hi folks, Tunein is just an aggregator of radio stations and their corresponding streams. Whether or not a station's stream will work on a specific device, how long it takes to buffer and when it starts to play is beyond the control of Tunein and the channel developer. All three aspects, however, wi...
