I have an Insignia Roku Tv 1080p - seems to be unaffected by the 8.1 update. Input (which isn't on Roku's own remotes) still works fine.

I just got 8.0.0 this morning. Insignia 40" 1080p (5401x).

Mine has been doing this for months. I disabled test participation. I deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing. THEN, I read where after you delete the app, turn the device OFF before reinstalling app. Once I did this, I have not had a crash since. So. Delete app. Power off device. Power on device....

Same here. Uninstalled, did a complete reboot, re-installed and it worked great that one time. After that it was back to the same.

I've resorted to using my 6 year old Blu Ray player to stream Netflix at this tv location.

Pluto.tv somehow incorporates antenna channels (must have a roku tv with antenna hooked up) into their app with limited guide data. They don't have any pausing/rewinding features and it's limited to 15 channels that start at the lowest channel number and includes the sub channels - so I only get up ...

Looks like the guide data is some what broken and crashing the app. Only way it doesn't crash is to turn off 3 hour guide - and then it lists Dec 31, 6pm as the date and time. The listings are accurate though.
