Observer callback functions

I'm seeing this on the 7.1 release notes: Parameters can now be passed to observer callback functions (ifSGNodeField). https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/Release+Notes#ReleaseNotes-SDKUpdateReleaseNotes:version7.1-04/05/2016 There's no mention of how to use parameters with observeField in the d...

9-patch focusBitmapUri issues on firmware 7.2

The 9-patch images that I use for RowLists are no longer behaving in 7.2 the way they did in 7.1 and below. It looks like the lower one-pixel guide beneath my image is not being respected. I've tried changing around the one-pixel guides, but the end result is always the same. Anybody know what chang...

Re: New OS Firmware 7.2 update info

How can I get 7.2 installed to my device? I've been told that there are issues with my channel on 7.2, but I have no way of verifying.

Omniture SDK adbmobile.brs

Has anyone used the Omniture sdk provided by Adobe and successfully implemented it in Scene Graph? I've been able to integrate and make calls using task nodes, but now I'm seeing a lot of crashes in my app. Especially when exiting to the home screen, or deleting the app through the installer page. I...

Re: firmware 7.1 beginning slow rollout

Updated to 7.1 yesterday. The biggest issue I'm having is that the Roku will freeze and reboot after I install a package from the installer page the second time . To clarify, I start the roku, install a build, no problem. Make any change, install again and kaboom. Also seeing weirdness with how Row...

Re: loadingBitmapUri not working

I'll see if I can get my hands on another roku to test. Ideally, we want our channel to support 7.0, bc it doesn't seem like the 7.1 upgrade is forced on users. Thanks for the help. They roll out firmware updates over an extended period of time, so they can respond quickly if a major bug is discove...

Re: loadingBitmapUri not working

I'm using a Roku 4, firmware version 7.0, built 8906. Not seeing anything that indicates that this only works in 7.1.

failedBitmapUri & loadingBitmapUri not working with examples

I've modified the SimpleRowList.zip example found here: https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/rowlist My version utilizes the failedBitmapUri and loadingBitmapUri field, but neither seem to work for me. I've tried with the following modifications: 1. Load a high res image into the poster thumbnail...

Re: loadingBitmapUri not working

But I do see one mistake on line 20 showRowLabel = "false" It's supposed to be an array of boolean https://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/RowList "Specifies whether the row label on the left edge of each row is displayed. If the array contains fewer elements than the number of rows ...

Re: loadingBitmapUri not working

I don't get it...I don't see the use of loadingBitmapUri in your XML. Ahh, I made a mistake when I posted the code. I removed the field from my code because it was breaking, and when I posted the example code i typed failedBitmapUri instead of loadingBitmapUri. Here it is: <?xml version="1.0&q...
