Re: Get channel started Quick & Easy with live Examples below

Honestly this part is tricky. In your rss feed for categories assuming you created a tag for each video this is the sorting mechanism of your feed. In Jw player every video must be tagged. Test this by searching videos by tag.

Re: How many ads Play till paid?

Actually that makes more sense. This is why I am working on building more content from scratch. Many channels work off the same content just packaged differently.

How many ads Play till paid?

I am sure this question as been asked once before.. How many ads must be viewed before a payout takes place? is the ratio higher with more content. I had taken hiatus for a while, and now ready to engage my viewers once again.

Re: Help W/MRSS feed Error

A few days ago, Roku made an announcement the old code and the Sdk will be shelved. So another words if your channel is not using Directpublisher or SceneGraph it will be dropped. For this reason, I will not be making the .zip available, sorry but it would cause more work to undo..

Re: Limit on number of categories and playlist items

For me the solution was easy make one feed in RSS inside of jwplayer as a free account and assign each video a TAG. Your playlist are all the tags that are auto discovered or by TAG. COPY THE RSS feed into DirectPublisher. Warning you are only allowed 99 entries total. Another solution is to change ...

Title of Video displayed when you hit OK while in PLAY - but no description

Per the instructions of https://github.com/rokudev/feed-specifications/blob/master/mrss-feed-specification.md Just add the title and description for the info to appear in simplest form. Ok, I have this figured out. But I noticed something in video playback by accident.. If it hit OK, while in PLAY t...

Re: Building an MRSS feed -- Solution Project

Since my host is on WordPress I did install the plugin JWplayer and setup my account but the rss and Json do not recognize a description or image hosted. So far still trying to get this to work. Any easier way to do this?

Building an MRSS feed -- Solution Project

When I created my channels I concluded the best way to give access to the content was secure the pkg into the Roku, this locked and protected against a breach of intellectual ownership. This was my own choice of my.roku.com/add/uptoten However looking at the new concept of providing an mrss feed sol...

Re: MRSS and my forum

Yes, because I created my own feeds in the XML. When you download and unzip the download you will see in the XML directory each PKG as it's own individual feed. Each video is a direct link to the host but in the position of the category. This is my Fourth revision. I'm granting full access to my cha...

Re: MRSS and my forum

Hi,  I know exactly what you are referring to your wanting a breakdown between the category and sub-menus for each area of content.  I had to adopt the older scene graph technology vs. the new methods. Now there are some major benefits that I enjoy the most, DIRECT feed for images built into to the ...
