Can you run mythroku.roku from the PB interface instead of commandline? That error indicates it isn't in the directory you are currently located in. Are you sure you are in the right directory when you run that commandline? What are the other contents of that directory?

Re: Firmware 35

I am having simular problems with the install as newlinux, and I noticed he got 81l working after setting the firmware back to 2.0.35. How do I do this. I have used the automatic firmware upgrade feature on the roku, so I am not sure what firmware version I am runing. How do I determine the firmwar...

LiveTV problems

Okay this is a section of the mythroku log when I try to view LiveTV (I always get a file open failed no matter which tuner I select). The backend sees it as starting and stopping liveTV within 1 second from the log timestamps. It does create a small file, so the tuner is opening, but for some reaso...

maybe not, as I only have a limited allowance I cleaned out old versions. I'll post 'em tonight. Its only cosmetic mind you. No worries, I appreciate what I've already gotten. I found LiveTV still gets the File Open Failed. A quick look at the backend logs indicate attempts where made to open a con...

Hmm, I can't find those .png on your site. The link near the place where they are mentioned doesn't work for me (.80j). All the other links either don't work for me, or only have the executable, or don't have those files... I must have missed something...

rolled back to 2.0.35, and it works. Well, I don't quite know all the capabilities of the interface, but it plays back my recordings (haven't tested them all, but works well enough). Now I need to figure out what different buttons do, and what the capabilities are. Is there a guide anywhere? if ther...

The error seems to occur before it grabs even the file. The decoder won't even open. That doesn't have anything to do with the specific file. I've only seen this when the roku crashed with the decoder open. Then a reboot was necessary to cure it, or if I didn't have permission to access the databas...

./mythroku.roku: -dbuser=test1: command not found at the end of the log was about a newline I had in the file. Fixed it, but still have the same problems, as I thought it would because I ran it command line I'm pretty sure I had the right options. For clarity, my full file is: #!/bin/sh # # Due to i...

several ideas 1. I run it from a share, I don't know if the c/f card is an issue 2. The decoder can get fouled up so that even if things are ok you get the file open error. So, it may be as simple as rebooting the roku. You should do that anyway first. 3. You see the file name in the log that it is...

yes, they are all mpeg 2 encoded via a PVR-150 (although using the DVD special 2 codec) or mpeg 2 transport streams captured digitally from on of my QAM tuners. Although, On my PVR-150 it seems to crash, on my QAM recordings it seems it gives me the Failed to Open message (I haven't tested every rec...

My HD-1000 (rev A unfortunately, but I have a compactflash card) is on its way. Does mythRoku require a certain firmware version on the Photobridge?

Re: Questions about mythroku

Thank you. When I get my Roku, I'll try and set it up based on what I think is supposed to happen. Then if I run into problems i'll post back here with what I did, and what went wrong. Oh do I ever need to telnet into the Roku to do anything? Does it have a default username and password? And thanks ...

Questions about mythroku

Hello, I've done some searches and am not quite sure of the answers so I'll ask here. I don't have an HD 1000 yet, but I am planning on getting one. Thanks in advance: 1. I am running myth .20.2 (it is protocol 31) from the ubuntu repos. This compatible with latest version of mythroku? 2. I've looke...
