Mine is averaging 66-72c when I first check it in the morning.  After watching a film on Vudu it varies from 72-74c but for whatever reason, Youtube HD clips tend to get it to 76c which is odd since they're only 5 minute clips.  But judging from you two these temps aren't abnormal but what is abnorm...

For some reason 8.0 forced my Roku 2 to 1080 despite the tv being 720, once set back manually it was still buggered. I've been having issues with Vudu lately, bit more sluggish than normal and I'm hardwired and getting 65 megs down.  I'm starting to wonder if its Spectrum's DNS and if so, I believe I can switch to Google's by adding them to my router's settings.

I experienced a resolution issue with 8.0 where it set my Roku 2 to 1080 after it rebooted.  Firmware updates have never changed my 720 setting before but 8.0 did on the Roku 2.  With the Premiere it did the same but with the Premiere after setting it back to 720 and rebooting things just got buggy ...

I forgot to mention that this impacts the Premiere and the Roku 2.  

I'm sending back the Premiere I got today, the thing idles at 78c and even the Roku tech was like "send it back".  All three Premiere's I've tried idle in the mid to late 70's, no clue why.

For the record, "My Feed" seems to have gotten "weirder" since the 8.0 firmware update, at least on my player so I'd advise not doing the manual update for a few days.

No buffering issues here so it's not affecting everyone. They didn't say what Roku they were using.  I had some really odd issues the last time I used the 7.6 firmware for the 2 and I find it odd that they're now saying 7.6 fixes some of the HDCP issues with the 2, I don't recall anyone ever report...
