That error from ncurses should be harmless. There is probably some issue with the mt-daapd.conf file (for example, mp3_dir might be pointing to a directory that you do not have). Try starting mt-daapd in the foreground: /opt/sbin/mt-daapd -d 9 -f -c /opt/etc/mt-daapd/mt-daapd.conf and see if you get...

That's beyond my limited understanding, so I guess the question is, can anything be done?


Maybe :D I'm going to try setting up a cross-compilation environment to build Firefly from source. I have the QNAP TS-101 and Roku M1001 myself, so I'd like to get this working.

The "/opt/sbin/mt-daapd: not found" message is a little misleading; it found mt-daapd, but it did not find needed libraries. Here is the output of ldd on my TS-101 after installing mt-daapd_svn-1696-1ds101g_powerpc.ipk -- the "not found" entries are for glibc libs, while we only ...
