Re: PSU Dissected for Repair

Seems that the device is working!
That is what i did (after getting in safe mode):

1. open my network
2. downloaded the offered update
3. reboot

...voila.

Thank you really very very much for that hint to the safe mode!

Re: PSU Dissected for Repair

WOW - the safe mode worked! I could enter some input. But trying to enter the WEP key it says: This step key is not in a valid format. Please double-check that you entered it correctly. Being sure that i entered it correctly i am stopped here at the OK. What could I do now? (As I had cut the wires f...

Re: PSU Dissected for Repair

Until now i did not open either one of the two main parts of the unit. I gu...

Re: PSU Dissected for Repair

Perhaps one of the experts could help me? Seems to me that my psu did not crash (because i managed to never leave it in standby but rather had the power shut off when the device was not in use.) But now i made a mistake: i switched the power on and immediately off again which made the device make a ...

Re: Why do SBRadios die?

Seems to me that the radio would live much longer if you would not let it in standby when not used. Instead shut off the power!

How about working with 2 separate psu?

One for 19v, the other for 9.5v?

SB prefers wireless over wired

My SB ist connected to the router (fritz!box 7270) by lan. When i switch it on the SB very often tries to establish a wireless connection. After switching off and then on again it works like it should: SB connects via LAN. The same happens if i restart the SB via the menu instead of powering off and...

Got it working at least

1/
my m3u file is in the most upper directory under the folder \music

2/
I had a leading backspace in the paths!

So it was:
\xxx\yyy\zzz.mp3
and didn't work

Changed it to:
xxx\yyy\zzz.mp3
and that works!

Hope that might help someone.

Static playlists

The question has been asked before, but no solution can I find! But some people seem to be able to play them static playlists. So could one of these lucky people ... 1/ tell me where exactly the playlist resides in his music library and 2/ show me the first 3 rows of his working static playlist Than...

in regard of criterion "path" in smart playlists

It took me some time to find that out: if you want to get songs per smart playlist from folderone\foldertwo you have to put it that way: path includes "folderone\\foldertwo" Otherwise u don't get any songs in firefly! (I guess that firefly would read folderoneoldertwo if there is only one ...

Why do SBRadios die?

The SBRadio has the bad habit of consuming much power while in standby! So you can either ignore that and leave the radio plugged in all the time. Or you can pull out the plug each time the radio isn't used. Both of these 2 behaviours could be a reason for the device being damaged that young! I have...
