Ended up sending my PhotoBridge to Pyramid Audio to get repaired. Had it back for a couple of weeks and its working great.

Will see what next year offers for MPEG2/MPEG4 players. But for now, I'm good with my PhotoBridge. :D

PhotoBridge finally died.

PhotoBridge finally died. :( Light use, but plugged in 24/7. Looks like power supply is toast. Will likely send to Pyramid Audio for repair. Is there a decent replacement available that will play TS and MPEG4 streams? I would consider replacing the Roku with it if there was, instead of having the Ro...

I do exactly that and it works fine, lets me "time-shift". I just need a couple of minutes of the program to be able to start watching. Even if you try to FF past the end, MPlay will stay 10 sec behind the end, so you can watch "live". I run into this problem when I "time-shift" and end up almost c...

It looks like marcelo is looking into it for you, since he has a similar set up. I'll let him ask the questions

"End of File" problem

TheEndless, I often start playback while the file is still being recorded with a MyHD card. The problem I run into is that MPlay will reach the "End of File" and stop playing on the last file because the .mplay file indicates its at the end. The only way to finish is to wait until the show is done r...

How well does the streaming of live HDTV signals work? How do you change channels? I have thought about integrating some channel-changing logic into CinemaSix but that involves communicating with the streaming server directly. It would be good if there was a standard for that. Streaming works prett...

CinemaSix can also play back video streamed over HTTP. This includes any MPEG2 transport stream transcoded from other sources (AVI, etc.) from VLC on a PC. It also has the ability to play DVD VOB files. ...and if you have TSReader and a Fusion card you can stream live video to your Roku using Cinem...

I was going to go ahead and order the parts so that I had them on hand when it happened. I was wondering if it would be worth it to get a High Temp Electrolytic Capacitor to replace the 47uF instead of just a standard generic electrolytic cap? I would definitely go for the 105°C electrolytic over ...

Has anyone else verified that replacing the 47 microfarad capacitor and 3842B are routinely adequate for this repair? My PhotoBridge is still working (knock on wood), but when it does bite it I'm going try this fix first. I was going to go ahead and order the parts so that I had them on hand when i...

Set is a CRT. Will take 720p or 1080i directly on the component inputs but will convert the 720p -> 1080i.

Thanks for the update. I occasionally use CinemaSix with TSReader to stream from my Fusion3 card. One thing I noticed when playing an ABC file using CinemaSix was that the screen seems shifted to the left as compared to MPlay as I could see part of the infamous ABC green line on the right that is us...
