Before I order a new remote, can someone confirm that the streaming stick remote on the Roku accessory page does work with the purple streaming stick (2014 version)?
Happened to me the other day as well. Backed out and was able to start back up, but buffering issues became so bad, I had to stop watching. Had just watched complete movie on the service thru my UV account without the first buffer just two days prior.

One of the BEST changes to this is that I can stop any show, go to another or even back out of the channel completely, then pick the show up right where I left off. Huge leap forward in the design of the UI. Great job to the folks at Shiftkey Software.
Leo, Lisa and a couple of the engineers had a hour long video posted on the twit.tv site. They are looking at a different solutions to replace MediaFly. All of their proposed solutions would make video able to be posted sooner and a more automated process.
I have 3 Rokus... all different models. I have never (except for network issues beyond Netflix or Roku's control) had a problem with the Netflix stream. What speeds are you getting? When you say all other channels work, what channels are you talking about? Video intensive channels?
If it can be on a stick that size, then given the right agreements and partnerships with manufacturers, it could easily be embedded in a smart TV. No box at all. I believe when this first came up, it was discussed that the licsense fees for Roku to do this would make it nearly impossible from a business standpoint. I'd like native support as well, but we do have to keep in mind, this box was never built with streaming personal local content in mind.
