It would compete with their soundbridge and I doubt they will want to take money away from that. SoundBridge has pretty much been cut loose as a product line: http://forums.rokulabs.com/viewtopic.php?p=121882#121882 If adding music channels would make the DVP a better value proposition to consumers...

I seriously doubt you will ever see that from them. It would compete with their soundbridge and I doubt they will want to take money away from that. Im not saying it isn't possible, with the sdk kit, someone might come up with a way to do it, but I highly doubt that roku would.

That is correct. If your watching your roku and try to watch something on the pc, it wont let you, and vice versa with only 1 at a time. 2 dvd's get you 2 watch instantly at a time and the more you up, the more you can watch at the same time (I have the 2 dvd plan and can watch one on the pc and one...

From netflix website Members on Netflix unlimited plans may have up to 6 unique devices or computers activated on an account at any one time. As it says, you can have up to 6 total, including pc's. The number of them that can be watched at the same time is dependent on how many discs your plan is ge...

I have both Linksys and 2wire routers (in different locations) and both become unreliable at 35-40 feet. My Iphone also "sees" routers fro far distances but will never actually connect. I think what happens depends on multiple factors. If you routers become unreliable at 35 to 40 feet, so...

It can not guarantee that it wont rebuffer, but forcing a particular stream will make it try to rebuffer at the same speed.

Just as an fyi, you posted this in the general roku forums. There is a specific forum for the roku netflix box called roku digital media player general discussion.

Maybe this can help. A wireless router still has wired connections on it also. You can keep your desktop connected via a wired connection and the rest of the wireless items you want can be connected via wireless as long as they are wireless devices. Below is a diagram that may help in understanding ...

The ones that want 1080i would need the Roku to upconvert to 1080i, then they could watch the 720p stuff at 1080i. I don't know if the player has the capability to upconvert though. yes we have not been told if it would upconvert. however, it doesnt even have to do that. I can watch movies on my dv...

At that cost, you might as well buy a Blu-Ray player with the Netflix/Amazon functionality built-in. I love my Roku Player, but if you want HD and you have a 1080i-only TV, there are far to many other options to jump through hoops like this to get HD. Are there 1080i streams available from Netflix ...
