I'm looking for a NAS drive that can utilize SlimServer/SlimRoku etc. Does anyone have experience with the LaCie drives, or can anybody recommend anyhting else? Price is a problem, so Infrant is not really an option!

Does Sonata need to be run? I copied the FLAC codecs into the Slimserver bin, ticked the file conversions in SlimServer, and everything appeared to run in properly according to the SlimServer notices.

FLAC didn't work for me. Maybe the difference between a PC and a Mac?
The system is now working pretty well, though, with just a few minor squawks. I must have just hit a bad transmission period.

OK have got it running (sort of) by making the various stations into a playlist, but they only run a few seconds before they terminate.
