You could get a Bluetooth transmitter with a 2.5mm input, and hook it up to your TV.. Then, any audio normally output by the TV would go thru any Bluetooth device (in this case, speakers) paired with your transmitter.

Reboot the Roku and try it again.

When you are on the main screen, arrow to the channel, hit the asterisk key *, and select Remove Channel.

What model of Roku do you own?

Sometimes the new updates are too much overhead for the older Roku's, causing them to run more slowly then before.. I experienced this with my Roku 2 XS, before replacing it with a Roku 3.

You may have had your Roku box for 3 years, but was it a new model at the time?

What country are you in? It could be that Plex is geo-restricted.

I would really like to see a utility added into settings of the TCL Roku tv that switches the tv from 2d to 3d for every show, movie or game. All you would need then is the appropriate 3d glasses. It could be a problem with your region. Is it all channels that don't allow you to watch movies, or just some? Ate you using any kind of VPN? Have you tried changing DNS addresses in your router to the Google DNS?

Yeah, if it's happening with both AVRs, I'm not sure you can do anything to fix it.. see if you can get a replacement Roku, because I'd consider this unacceptable.
