The fee is actually $36/yr and has nothing to do with Sonos. You have to pay this fee if you want advertisment-free streaming of the Pandora service. If you're using any device other than the internet for streaming Pandora then they (Pandora) are going to make you pay a subscription fee. Makes sense...

I just bought the Sonos system and MAN!! It rocks. The Rhasody Direct is pretty sweet. But the rest of the system just blew my socks off. The controller really is as good as you think it would be. I do still have my two Roku Soundbridges though... I still love them. And they're perfect for certain s...

By the way - I've got a perfectly good HD1000 revA (with a compact flash card that boots automatically to provide more memory) just sitting around. I keep saying that I'm going to sell it on Ebay but I've just been too lazy to do it. If someone is interested just PM me and maybe we can work somethin...

Can the N35 play DVDs in ISO or VOB format or do you have to tinker with your file structure to get them to play correctly? I ditched my HD1000 and went to a modded Xbox and have never looked back. But if HD is important to you then this isn't an option. I realize that most of the HD1000 users used ...

I guess I'm slow but I'm just now hearing about the new beta version of WMP11 and the new server. I'm guessing that it doesn't allow you to control the network device THROUGH WMP or someoen would've already mentioned it.

I wonder if they'll add support for this? It sure would be nice...

I tried Music Giants b/c I'm a fan of uncompressed digital music and I'm too lazy to go buy a CD and rip it to my computer. :D But I ended up ditching it b/c I wasn't pleased that WMC couldn't stream it to the SoundBridge. So I just burned all the downloaded files and re-ripped them back to my compu...

Well - since the HD1000 is now a dead product I don't have any bones about suggesting that you look into getting a modded Xbox and install XBMC. That's what I've done and it's BY FAR the best solution out there for what you're trying to do. Not only is the best solution out there, it will simply ama...

I don't want to turn this into a Harmony debate or anything but I also have the 880 (and have since about the first week it was out on the market) and I'm loving it! It has worked perfectly with my Soundbridge since day 1 - no problems there. As for the remote itself - I'm not sure it can be beat fr...

I don't know why, but it appears to Rhapsody doesn't WANT people to be able to do this. They want you to have to run their horrible processor intensive application to stream music. The least they could do is let the server run as a service but they have pretty much told everyone directly that they d...

Trust me. Doesn't work. If you want working DVD menus then mod an Xbox to run XBMC.

I use the Bose companion speakers for my SoundBridge in the bathroom and love them. I specifically didn't want a subwoofer in the bathroom for asthetic purposes so the companion speakers work great for me.

Have you tried restarting WMC since you completed the upgrade?

I'd try restaring WMC and then restarting your SB.

If that doesn't fix it then let me know and I'll upgrade to see if I'm getting the same issue.

As far as I know WMP has nothing to do with how the SB acquires DRM content - this is all driven by the server which is most likely WMC.

I just recently added a second M1001 to my bathroom (first one is in the living room). I simply bought a pair of Bose powered speakers and it sounds great. I have Cat5e in every room in my house except for each of the bathrooms so I'm running this one wirelessly. All of my files are WMA Lossless so ...
