It just cost me a new UHD 4K TV to fix my HDCP 1.2 purple screen problem, what you need is a splitter that is HDCP 2.2 compliant, problem is I don't think they make one :( So, it that the solution, a 2.2 splitter? Using a splitter was never guaranteed to work and was never officially supported; it was a risk you were willing to take. You were lucky it worked in the first place, not "unlucky" that it no longer works. I will buy this to a point, sure I took a risk in the beginning, (don't forget that...

My biggest frustration is why a current setup worked for months and then, out of the blue, stopped working.

If this was caused by a ROKU update, there should be a fix from ROKUs end.

I have a thread I just started below, hdcp error with splitter. Up until recently, apparently last roku software update, I was doing this. Using 1 roku stick, through a powered splitter, to feed 2 tvs in adjoining rooms. It all worked great until recently. You do realize, that even if/when it works ...

HDCP error with splitter

New member, first post. Appreciate any help. I can go into details as to why, but I have, or should say had, my ROKU stick feeding the input of a powered hdmi splitter, with the 2 outputs feeding 2 TVs. All worked well for months and then 1 day, stopped working and got HDCP error.  Did some research...
