Re: Roku not seeing Plex

I have an old Roku and recently (less than 2 weeks) it has does not see my plex movie channel that is stored on my computer. I know my Roku is connected to the internet because I can watch Netflix movies without any problem. I have had Plex running for over a year and not had any problems until  re...

Re: New Model Roku 4200x hits the FCC

What I'm hoping for is a larger buffer. 256, 512 or even 1 GB buffer. So more of the video remains in memory. And can help with congestion. And it needed for very high bandwidth streams. Or your have like only a 30 sec buffer window. And if there is congestion on the network, you're going to rebuffe...

Re: What would you want on the Roku 3? Hardware not software

1. Faster processor and Graphics speeds. (a lot faster!) 2. More ram, and much longer buffer. 3. New 802.11 AC Wireless. (By the time ROKU 3 comes out it should be standardized) 4. SDXC U1 Support. (To Allow the MicroSD slot to pay videos or increase the video buffer) I also would like the OTA supp...

Re: Can't connect to Internet (error code 009)

Try this: Restart every thing. Power off your route, cable modem and Roku for 30 secs and turn them back on. Also remember to type the password correctly as it is cap sensitive. You could also try turning off the wifi password and try connecting. Maybe you just type the password wrong. I've done tha...

Re: Vudu may come soon

Vudu would mean the addition of the Ultraviolet technology as well. I think Roku would be a big step in getting the Ultraviolet off the ground. Does anyone know if Ultraviolet includes HD streaming, if I take my standard DVDs in for "conversion"? Base on what I read on their support page ...

Re: Roku N1050 Standard def vid on sale Deal of Day $29+$5 s

28 people bought as of this posting. That is just not right to trick people into thinking they are getting a deal.

Always pays to check the model number. Always do your homework.

Re: Roku N1050 Standard def vid on sale Deal of Day $29+$5 s

N1050. That is like the 2nd oldest model out there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roku

It's no deal at all. Its not even worth $15.

edit:

Wait. I just check the site gain and its refurbished.

Its not even worth the $5 dollar shipping.

I think I cut the cord about a year ago. Or Longer. I don't remember. Don't miss it that much. In fact I don't want as much TV anyway. So many other things that better anyway. Re: Why microsd instead of sd card?

The answer is simple: Its because its small.

Well I yet I think that why. Maybe the Full SD side changes something internal for a technically reason.

Re: Roku status on offerring the Vudu channel

However, I believe that Wal-Mart's DVD to Vudu only works through Vudu. I don't think you can transfer them to another Ultraviolet service. However, I'm not certain about that. It would be great that you be able to do that. But I think its lock into Vudu, kind of defeating the purpose of Ultraviolet...
