Re: Roku HD-XR Player $59.99 on Amazon - Gold Box Deal

Great, sounds like it was a good deal then. Can you stream from the USB port? I got in on the deal, but wondered what the differences are between this HD-XR and the new HD units. I think the ones we got on Amazon were released in 2009? Comparing to the new HD (not the others which are better than th...

I thought I would bump this one last time. I went to a HTPC which I am also going to sell now. Its too much of a pain. But I would like to give these Roku's a good home if possible.

SOLD - 2 HD1000's 1-rev A and 1-rev B (non working)

The rev B has had the powersupply parts replaced once and it died again. I have most of the parts still and they will go with the unit. The end has craked off around where the power button is. I can send a picture if I need to. Still looks fine (it's on the front left side where it broke off). The R...

Microsoft OneCare and Roku - what settings?

I just installed Onecare and when the firewall is on using Onecare, Roku can not see the shares. What settings do others use with Onecare to allow Roku in? I have sharing turned on in the firewall settings.

Thanks,
Jeff

I got mine down to two shares (one per computer).
Then I use this method for each HDD in that computer. It's worked great for me!

"Early 2007"
Yeh, right.

Wasn't it something like Early 2006 for the finished firmware?
I don't believe anything this company says until it's on the shelf.

Mplay and Built in player aspect ratio problem

I have a few movies that I tried playing lately that Mplay and even the built in player will not play in the correct Aspect Ratio. The movies have about 4 inches cut off each side (viewing on a 50' TV). They play and look fine in a bunch of other applications. Any ideas? The movies I tried are Bewit...

Awesome!

Dumb question of the day.
Do I need to have a certain account on the Infrant NAS to enable the Roku to see it? MPlay sees the NAS but nothing shows up in it.
I'm sure it's an account issue.

Play files from the Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1 Camcorder?

It sure would be nice if the Photobridge could play the files off the SD cards from this camera.

Thanks!! I have another question. When I run it, it creates the nasMedia share on the left but it sees no recognizable media. I have my Infrant set-up to be using "Share' security. Should I be using "User" for this to work? I have my Roku's IP address in the "Root privilege-enabled hosts:" NFS share...
