Re: Rebuffering Channel Store Selections

Switching to different quality encodings is possible only if the content provider has encoded in different bitrates like Netflix does. If there is only one (4 dot) stream available, then the player can only play that one and it won't be able to step down to a lower quality. --Mark I guess that pret...

Re: Rebuffering Channel Store Selections

Yes, I mean anything other video selection than Netflix. Examples are Trigger Talk, Newscaster (NBC Nightly News). The point is though, that these selections always assume 4 dot quality, rather than sensing an appropriate speed/quality.

Rebuffering Channel Store Selections

Let me start by saying I have 3mbps connection, and rarely have problems with Netflix streaming. The box usually streams at 4 dot quality. Re: Replacement Power Adapter $6.95 shipped

Well if that's the case "Roku's Spec" (actually a marketing description) is probably in error, because what they actually ship is 5.0V 2.5A.

Re: Replacement Power Adapter $6.95 shipped

This might be worth it to those of us with an original box and a 1.5 amp power brick however. Isn't the Roku rated at 5.2 volts however which might negate the half amp improvement? I'm sure it would work, just is it worth the upgrade? The power adapters for the original players were rated 5.0V 1.5A...

I found this information by searching the Roku forums for streamtheworld. Perhaps a subtle hint from dupondt? Streamtheworld urls can be easily predicted by using the following format; http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/WSBAM.pls This is a url for WSB radio that will work with ROKU. If your ...

Has anyone else noticed......

.....it seems like all of the links for Cox Radio affiliates at http://www.radioroku.com/ no longer work. That is probably a couple hundred stations. The streaming works from the affiliates websites through a pc, but that link won't work with Roku Soundbridge. A couple of examples that I'm partial t...
