Re: Wireless keyboard?

[quote="vortechs"]Yep.. gotta agree here. I'm NOT interested in having yet another browser capability brought to my home, on a Roku XD|S. I just want to be able to buy something like http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320715327815+&clk_rvr_id=245843981856this, so I'...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syberia
Syberia 1 & 2 are my favorites. They should have made a third.
I love point & click games.
I have an eye condition so 3D stuff doesn't work for me.
I can't do those shoot um games.
So Point & Click is perfect for me.

Re: Walmart now sells Rokus!?!

I can't see where waiting for delivery time, paying shipping cost, and bad return policies is the intelligent spectrum. Also to add into it is getting the correct size and color of items. Roku is not the only item they sell. And not wanting to add every purchase onto the credit cards. Finally Walmar...

Re: Where did framechannel go?

Yesterday it's Framechannel. Today it's JustinTV. Web Site is dead too. Instead of a coming/going soon Netflix instant browser, you might have to make a going soon dead channel app. Pretty soon our viewing choices will be Mormon, Buddha, Christian or Islam. Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm there will always b...

Re: GBTV.com

As a life time Mensan and financial conservative politically: I am always amazed, that liberals must "shout down" anything they don't want to hear and on topics there is no need to comment. i agree with you. There were no need for those shout down comments. I didn't see any irony in there...

Re: Walmart now sells Rokus!?!

CVS sells LCD tvs(small)tablet pc's(slow),MP3 players, dvd players, cameras, phones.I bet they would be happy to sell Roku's.Probably for $20 more than direct and give $10 Extra Care Bucks back. If they can sell them and make a profit great. Right now our economy can use a boost. Maybe if they sell en...

Re: Walmart now sells Rokus!?!

I've never really cared for that particular retailer, and refuse to shop there. Out of respect for our mods, I won't get into the stereotypical clientelle or the policies of certain individual stores... but I hope this won't end up hurting Roku in the end. They are known for putting the choke-hold ...

Re: Walmart now sells Rokus!?!

I shop at Walmart about as much as i do anywhere else. I don't think the people going or working there are any smarter or dumber then anyone else. What i do know is they provide a lot of jobs for people. Maybe not the best paying jobs but better then being unemployed. I wonder how many in here takin...

Re: GBTV.com

you're taking me way out of context i was refering more to pushing the envelop kind of restrictiveness faced by OTA and cable. I wasn't refering to illegal context. Both GB and Olberman pushed the limit and that's why they're gone from cable. But neither was going in the direction of your quoted res...

Re: GBTV.com

thank you for that off topic comment now hopefully we can get back to the topic of GBTV I think an important point should be made about context On OTA and cable there is some regulation on what can be said and how its said. But as far as i know there's nothing regulating what can be said on streamin...

Re: GBTV.com

please lets on our own stop this nonsense of name calling. Other wise the moderators will come in and close the thread. Like GB or not doesn't matter and should not be the point. Its great that he is coming to roku Maybe more commentators will come to roku too. Then we can all find a commentator we ...

i'm all for him being on.
I just don't see myself spending money for it.
I can catch him on radio for free. Love free talk radio.
Plus there is plenty of free newsy stuff on roku.
Roku is great in the sense that everyone can be on it.there is something here for everyone.
Most of it free too.

Re: GBTV.com

OOPS just found out the answer to my question
Today, Beck announced his official move to the web with the launch of GBTV.
Glenn Beck TV will be a paid service,
costing regular members $4.95 a month or $49.95 a year and plus members $9.95 a month or $99.95 a year.
seems high to me.

Re: GBTV.com

Roku better start beefing up their customer service department to handle all the generally confused Beck viewers! trust me i was a confused person long before i started watching Beck. Personally i would prefer a Rush Limbaugh channel. ANYWAY is the Beck channel going to be a free channel ? Any real...
