What is in the History Channel?

I currently have a old roku xd/s and I cannot get the History channel or netflix superhd on it, so I am considering whether to upgrade to roku 2 or 3. I currently do not any cable subscription. Is there any place where I can see what kind of content/shows (full episodes) I would be able to get throu...

Re: YT isn't working anymore...

The channel store trick fixed it for me too. I was afraid for a little while, this is our second most used channel. Thanks.

Help with Amazon

I don't use Amazon much, but I do have a sizeable video library. I am trying to view some of the items in my library and I am running into an issue, not sure if its roku or amazon. I click the Amazon Instant Video -> Your Video Library -> TV This results in a "retrieving" message, followed...

Re: Spanish Novelas Channel on Roku?

I went in to Nowhere TV today, and was excited to see Univision was in there already. The only problem is that when I click on the videos, they just reload, they won't play for me. Otherwise I really appreciate the quick turnaround of Nowhere man.

+1 Here too. It'd be great when relatives come over. Univision doesn't come in well through my OTA antenna.

Re: AT&T to implement DSL caps

Can they institute caps on people who are in a contract? I would think that would violate the terms under which the contract was signed, does anyone know?

Re: Netflix offers 3% credit for recent technical issues

No email here, and I got bounced at least 4 times throughout the night.

Edit: I did end up getting the email later yesterday night, I am guessing not all went out at the same time.
Nice that Netflix acknowledges inconvenience. Theyre alright be me.

Re: AT&T to implement DSL caps

How can you tell off your bill how much GB's you're using ? I do have AT&T DSL Pro its part of my phone package. Dont know about other providers, but when I login to my account on comcast.com it gives me a graph with usage for the last 3 months, plus how much I have used this month and what per...

Re: AT&T to implement DSL caps

I used 154GB in January and 112GB in February, so this is getting too close for comfort. I don't like this trend. Sure if you only use roku for one movie a night you should be okay, but if you have multiple TVs, your kids stream day-time cartoons, or use HULU+ as your DVR instead of TV you can rack ...

Re: Free Basic Cable with Comcast...I didn't know

Is it really free? Here its $58/month for HSI only and $60 for HSI + cable TV. Even though its $2 more, I assumed it'd be more since I figured they would add taxes and franchise fees, vs HSI only is a flat $58 without any extra fees ( I pay exactly $57.99) . I would like to find out if there are any...

Re: well, I finally cut the cable

Is DSL available where you are? If Comcast starts putting a cap on you it'll make Netflix that much harder to enjoy. 200gigs is 70-80 hours of Netflix. I can go through that in a week since I cut the cord. My TV stays 100 percent of the time internet sources of one type or another. I have comcast a...

Re: Food For Thought, Cord Cutters

Is the lack of 5.1 sound a Netflix or roku issue? . I assumed when the PS3 got 5.1 roku wouldn't be too far behind, but I am still waiting. I have been debating getting a PS3.

Re: How about an Antenna to get off the grid?

I love the idea of Tivo, but cannot justify paying the monthly fee. I currently have the DTVPal DVR which does not have subscription fees and works with OTA. I would love the idea of having a marriage of the DVR + Roku in one device. Right now i have 3 devices (I also use Patriot Box Office for stea...

Re: Spartacus: Gods of the Arena is up on Netflix

I loved Spartacus, and I have been looking forward to Gods of the Arena, and hoping Netflix would again show it at the same time as the episodes. To me this is worth my subscription to Netflix. I loved this episode, though lots of gore and all we have come to expect from Spartacus. I can tell this i...
