I have not tried Hulu. I know this is a Hulu thread, but the problem seemed to be the same with Revision3. It's possible they are not the same problem. I'll try Hulu this weekend.

Re: Hulu sound drops

Yes using optical out gets rid of the problem. Thats the recommended temporary fix until they can solve the problem. Unfortunately I don't have any open optical ports on my receiver..... I returned my XD and ordered an XDS so I could use the optical out. Connected it up last night and configured th...

Re: Hulu sound drops

This problem has been reported for months so I'm not sure why there is no fix yet. Months? Hulu+ has only been available on the Roku for just over two weeks. Roku is aware of the problem and working on it. I believe it was reported on the Revision3 app several months ago. It's probably just Hulu+ t...

Re: Hulu sound drops

Does anyone know if this issue is high priority for Roku/Hulu/Revision3? I have two days left in my return period for the Roku I bought from Best Buy. I'm going to return it unless I know for sure that they are working on it and there will be a fix. I can't watch Hulu or any Revision3 shows without ...

Non-Functioning Rev. B HD1000 For Sale *** SOLD ***

I have a Rev. B HD1000 which hasn't been used in probably two years. The last time I tried to use it nothing worked so I assume it's the dreaded power supply issue, but I haven't confirmed it. In fact, maybe it works now, but I haven't turned it on in two years. I have no use for it and I really don...

Reboot Loop?

My Photobridge seems to be stuck in a reboot loop. When it's powered on it shows the initial boot screen for a few seconds and then the power LED flashes and it reboots and starts over. This sequence continues. Is this a sign of a bad power supply or something else?

Re: Weekly update

Very interesting- Roku has now missed being timely 50% of the time on its Wednesday postings as to the status and ship date: 3/22, 4/5, and 4/19. I am very disappointed in the way Roku has been handling this matter and find it very difficult to understand the problems with regard to the delays in s...

There are other comanies out there such as Prismiq and Netgear that released media players before their time and then abandon them in place leaving users to flay about and search aimlessly for a working solution. Z. I'm glad you mentioned the name of the companies because this description sounds li...

Re: Come on...

With the length of the delay they better have added a wired ethernet connection on-board. Maybe this is part of the reason for the delay. Come on, I guess this statement was meant as a joke. There is no possibility to make a change like that in this stage of the project. They are reaching full volu...

Yes, but Roku is a small company - I don't think they have multiple independent development teams. Right now I think they are all scrambling to finish & ship the SoundBridge Radio. When they finally finish that, then supposedly they will go back to finishing the Photobridge 2.0 software. Do you...

This is not really a surprise. Browse the Photobridge forum and you'll read about the complete lack of support except the outstandanding support from the third party developers. The Roku presence there is atrocious. With the length of the delay they better have added a wired ethernet connection on-b...

The downside is it is less stable than the major releases. Another downside is that it can cause incompatiblities with programs such as MythRoku. Right now it looks MythRoku won't work with the SVN version of MythTV. Hopefully this will be addressed so I can proceed with my MythTV setup. COBeav
