Re: [Channel] MainSqueeze Music Player (MAINSQUEEZE)

Thanks. So it looks like it is a memory issue and not an incorrect file path, because it is able to load a shorter playlist no problem. I have 10,900 songs. Is it possible to do on the fly shuffling. This means that it goes to the Logitech server and for example initially picks 10 songs at random, a...

Re: [Channel] MainSqueeze Music Player (MAINSQUEEZE)

TheEndless, Is there any way to play and shuffle your music under tracks without creating a playlist. It lists all my music there. I am not sure why I need to create a playlist to play my music? A playlist is fine if I have created one for an event or special occasions. Is there a limit on the memor...

Re: [Channel] MainSqueeze Music Player (MAINSQUEEZE)

Endless,
I got it working. I just added all my songs to a playlist in winamp. Used notepad to modify the file path (file path was a windows file path) since it is connecting to my nas. The randomization is really good with the player. What is the maximum bit rate with WMA and MP3?

Main Squeeze - Add to Playlist

Endless, Congratulations on a great app. I want to shuffle all my music. Is the only way to do this is by adding all my songs to a playlist? It takes forever to add all my songs to a playlist. Can I not select a song from all tracks without adding it to a playlist and then select skip to go to the n...

Re: Onkyo TX-NR809 use with Roku

Yes, I have the Onkyo remote. Onkyo support told me that only volume can be changed. Other functions like stop and skip has to be changed through the main zone or zone 1. I cannot in other words press zone 2 and skip (for songs through DLNA). It will not work. I wonder if you are able to do this thr...

Onkyo TX-NR809 use with Roku

People on this forum have said that the Onkyo works well with the Roku, which seems to be true as I have just purchased one. The only problem is that the only functions on the remote control that can be used for zone 2 and 3 is the volume. The stop, skip, etc cannot be used. Changes have to be made ...

Re: Roku 2 Denon AVR-2312CI or Onkyo TX-NR809

The Denon has the surround sound specs below that the Onkyo does not appear to have.

Dolby Digital Surround EX, dts ES Discrete 6.1, dts ES Matrix 6.1. Are these important specs to have?

Roku 2 Denon AVR-2312CI or Onkyo TX-NR809

I am looking to purchase an audio receiver to work with my Roku 2. Which receiver above would people recommend to optimize my video and audio playing experience. I noticed that the Denon offers more surround sound options.

Re: Ethernet - 100 Feet

Now I can see there is a big difference between 100 feet and 100 meters. 328 feet is way more than enough. This answer here is probably that it makes no difference. I have an internal network using a NAS connected to 2 computers. I am thinking about upgrading my network to 1000baseT using Cat 6. Wil...

Ethernet - 100 Feet

I read somewhere that Ethernet is good for transmitting a good signal for 100 feet.
For the Roku or external internet, how is this 100 feet being measured? Is it from the router to the Roku, or 100 feet total from the phone switch or switch box outside to the router and then to the Roku?

Re: Surrrond Sound Roku

Thanks. You have answered my question. The speakers are analog.I was reading about these wireless speakers in NYT a week or two ago that send the signal to the speakers without any conversion to analog. My current setup is that I am using composite audio cables to connect my Roku to my receiver. The...

Surrrond Sound Roku

I connect my Roku via HDMI to my audio receiver and there is an uncompressed digital audio signal between the devices.
Is there a way to send this uncompressed audio signal to speakers without converting it to an analog signal or downgrading its quality?
