Thanks for the direction on VLC. However. after I follow the steps you outlined, what next? It appears the software is doing the transcoding but I cant find a new file after its done. Should I be looking for a file with a TS extension on it?

Make sure you have no other firewall software running. I had to disable Norton Internet Security until I figured out how to exclude the Roku IP addresss from the firewall. Playing Video as part of slideshow

I want to be able to intermix my video and photos together and have them play through the slideshow. I've read the posts and downloaded Cinema 6 but I don't want to have to toggle back and forth between two applications. If I transcode my video to a TS file, will the slideshow pick these up?
