Re: NHL GameCenter is just the pits this season, ruining hoc

I wonder if the NHL Gamecenter performance is any better on Apple TV. Mike, NHL Gamecenter is much better in the AppleTV. I have both devices and I prefer watching the Bruins' games either on the AppleTV or the iPad. The Roku (I have an older box) is okay AppleTV produces a better picture, more con...

Re: Willow.tv on Roku

Luckily, I am work watching the ENG-NED match on the web. The picture quality on willow.tv's website is glorious. I have had one hiccup in 30 overs.

Now, if the Roku channel would work when I get home...

Willow.tv on Roku

Has anyone at Roku been able to speak with willow.tv? I have read several customers are so frustrated with the company that they are canceling. I'm not in that category yet, as I am still able to watch the World Cup on my iMac quite well. However, I want to watch the matches on my Roku, and I can't ...

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

There isn't even a option for the second match. This is getting ridiculous Roku and Willow.tv.

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

Has anyone got the regular Willow.tv channel to work on Roku? I can't even get the channel to load anymore. I guess I will find out in 15 minutes if the NZ-KEN match will load. This is quite frustrating. You think with an event so big as the World Cup, that all the issues with the system would have ...

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

I was able to watch the end of India's innings on the Roku this morning, but turned it off at the break. Now, I am like everyone else. Roku is not working and I have to watch the remainder of the match on willow.tv.

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

Good news on the WC and ROKU. I received this response today: We would like to inform you that, high quality feed will be provided on Roku, which will be much better than the Willow Cricket feed. In addition to Roku we will provide live video stream on Mobile (Smart Phones) as well. Watching the WC ...

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

Can anyone confirm if we can get World cup on Roku in HD. Willow.tv claims that we can watch ICC world cup on all supported IPTV devices. But HD is shown only for Direct,Dish, and PC (including tablets). But IPTV does not have HD support. Albert Albert — I have asked that question on the forum and ...

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

Can someone explain the difference between Willow.tv and TVNSports? I have subscribed to willow.tv and been pleased so far. However, when I see willow.tv charging $129 for the WC, but TVNSports charging $39 for the same package I wonder what is going on. Is TVNSports legit?

Cheers.

Re: Cricket World Cup on WillowTV

My concern is the quality of the stream on the Roku. The stream last night (Pak v. NZ) was terrible on the Roku, but glorious on my iMac through their willow.tv's website. I have never received more than three dots on the Roku. I would much rather watch the World Cup and the upcoming IPL season thro...

Re: Willow TV on Roku - what's the status?

I would like to echo what Graham said; however, I don't know if anyone else noticed that the quality of the stream seemed lower through the Roku during the fourth day of the test? It's still more desirable to watch the matches on the computer at this stage. The computer has both feeds (I prefer SkyS...

Re: Willow TV on Roku - what's the status?

The buffering issues were not as bad last night as they were during the first test, which seemed to occur once per over. However, when it does occur, it still send the stream back 10-15 seconds, which over a test match could have the stream considerably behind the live stream one could watch on a PC...

Re: Willow TV question

I have only positive responses from Willow TV support. It's good to see them commenting here as well. They also acknowledged the buffering issue in an email last night or early this morning. (Sorry, fell asleep before Siddle's hat-trick. Good thing because I would have thrown something at the telly....

Re: Willow TV question

Mark's reply is spot on. The buffering issue is making Willow TV on the Roku unwatchable. At first, I was unable to even get the test match to load as the channel kept turning off an returning back to the live matches screen. When it did finally load, I noticed the match was significantly behind the...

Re: Willow TV question

This is absolutely brilliant. A few day before the Ashes and what a surprise. I must admit how wonderful Willow TV is. They allow streaming to computers, the iphone and iPad and now to the Roku.

Now, if only England can win down under.
