Do you mean Roku's boxes won't sync that well but the Squeezeboxes will? Or that one brand doesn't sync with the other?

For up to 32 zone multi room sync, check out SONOS.COM

Thanks. Tried the attach link and it worked on IE, however, when I played it through M1000 it couldn't connect. Any idea?

You could try pasteing the url into iTunes and see if it gives you a different url that should work with the M1000.

Re: My Network Places?

I went to My Network Places this morning to change my presets and the Soundbridge icon was gone! I also get nothing when I enter the IP address into the browser. Otherwise, SB works fine. In My Network Places it's set show UPnP icons. It looks like I have no way to access the configuration now. Any...

I like the idea of the Sonos, but that is an expensive option. (My budget is less than $2k.) Roku seems to be the same without the fancy remote or amplifier.. You are correct about the Sonos being expensive. But as I have 3 Roku's and a Sonos system, I can tell you that the Roku's are very differen...

So back to the ROKU forum monitor - are there any plans for implementing this functionality? As I have not been around the Roku forums very long, I have been around long enough to know that if there were any plans for these features that Roku would be proudly making anouncements of them. Being Roku...

Can you get something like this in the UK ??

I`m fed up with overly loud adverts and now ALL the channels do it !!!

Rob

I guess you could search your local vendor web sites.
And also I just found out that TERK seems to have been taken over by AUDIOVOX.. :?

Unfortunately, this unit does not have Digital Optical Input/Output. Thanks for the input though!

SADDLY :( if you could find a volume adjusting device for a digital output,
the quality would not be good as the level would be adjusted at the digital level.

So the Sonos can read from your NAS drive without the drive having to run any media server? That's pretty neat! The couple downsides I see are that the Sonos (or at least one of your Sonos's if you have more than one) need to be plugged into ethernet rather than WiFI and that it costs quite a bit m...

I wasn't happy with the iTunes output... in short, you can't customise it at all. So I use the program "Music Collector" from Collectorz.com to catalogue all my CDs (and individually iTunes purchased songs). I then created my own output format for the booklet I wanted, and now I have a 40 page docu...

Also, setting up a playlist in iTunes is difficult. I have to add a folder to the library first (takes very long) and then select all I have added and then copy and paste (very slow) to the new list. Is this the way to do it? I'm not sure what you mean here about making an iTunes playlist but it sh...
