Re: Enabling Power Save Mode on HD210

Lyndon -- The suggested Power on and Power off scripts are not working. I used a Timeout event on a image. I get a red flashing error light when they play. The Sony Bravia does not change to stand by mode. The regular program plays between the Power Off and Power On as scheduled. However, there is n...

Schedule Programming Rules

I sense the BrightAuthor programming language is very powerful. I was surprised and pleased to learn you can schedule multiple projects. I take this to imply that there is trmendous flexibility in how you schedule projects. You just have to figure out how. My current goal is to schedule a project to...

Re: HD110 Time Zone

Alex -- I'm on Central time. To get the time right on my HD210, I had to set the time zone to GMT-5.

Re: Enabling Power Save Mode on HD210

Thanks for the explanation. That helps. How do I publish multiple projects to the same device so they can run automatically in sequence? The way I'm doing it now, common files like autoschedule will get overritten.

Re: HD210 Lost Audio

Another data point -- Playing with programming the HD210, I lost audio again today. Reprogramming cards and cycling the power on the HD210 had no effect. However, cycling power on the Sony Bravia brought sound back.

Re: Enabling Power Save Mode on HD210

Lyndon -- I assume the logic is set the timeout equal to the length of time you want the presnetation to run; e.g. 8am-6pm is 10 hours so timeout will be set to 36,000 less a few seconds. I assume the "pon" command needs to be sent before the presentation is stopped by autoschedule at 6:00...

Re: HD210 Lost Audio

Lyndon -- Audio returned, but the sequence of events is strange. After I reported the problem, I left the unit running overnight. About 8 am I checked and no audio with the video. I changed the SD card to the one with the same presentation that was previously working ( I have 2 SD cards) and audio w...

HD210 Lost Audio

I enabled Simple Networking today for my HD210. Process worked fine first time except there is now no audio from the video in the presentation. The presentation loaded via simple networking is the exact same one that ran fine (good audio) when SD card was programmed directly via Local Storage option...

Enabling Power Save Mode on HD210

My HD210 display schedule function is working fine, but the monitor (new 40" Sony, Bravia connectied via HDMI) does not change to standby power when the presentation goes to off. The Sony's option for HDMI power control is set to on. I see there is a scrtipt for Powersavemode control of VGA but...

Re: Simple File Networking (update from any web server)

I'm in the process of implementing Simple Networking for the HD210. What happens if the HD210 polls for the server while a file is being updated on the website? I can see this easily happening with video files which may take say 10 minutes to upload to the website and the HD210 is polling every minu...

Clock on HD210 Without LAN Connection

My experimenting indicates the clock only works when the LAN is connected. Without the LAN the clock reads 88:88. This also means the scheduling function is no operational without a LAN connection. Is this correct or is there something I need to do to have the clock function without a LAN connection...

Re: Time zones and incorrect time

I had the same problem on my HD210. It displayed 88:00. This solution of running the special scripts above along with resetting the time zone worked. I had to set the time to GMT-5 for CDT. I assume Shaun meant he set his timezone to GMT+10
